First minted in 1921 to celebrate the end of Independence War.
On the observe side, stands “the independence Angel”. The reverse represents the golden Mexican Eagle emblem with a snake in its beak.

It was minted for the first time in 1489 on the request of the King of England, Henri VII.
On the observe side stands the effigy of the monarch of the era in which it was minted (Georges III, Georges IV, Victoria, Edward VII, Georges V, Georges VI).
The reverse side shows Saint Georges on his horse fighting a dragon.
Under Saint Georges representation, you can see the year as well as the initials “BP” from Benedetto Pistrucci, the engraver of the coin.
